I am having a problem! What is the best way to get help?
By far, the best way to get help is to help yourself by reviewing the FAQ. We have detailed answers to the most common problems that occur. Our help desk is often swarmed with questions a member can answer for themselves by carefully reviewing this information. Because of this it can often take a while to get an answer that is already on this page. Our site is complicated for some, but it is as simple as it can be. We have worked for years trying to make it as user friendly as possible.
The laws in Japan prohibit the display of genitals, hence the "mosaic" censor seen in most of our movies. When you see the term "decensored", this means the mosaic has been digitally removed from the video, and there may be artifacts (slightly jagged edges, for example) where the mosaic used to be. This process is not ours to use, and those who can are only able to use it on movies from select companies. You will not see many "decensored" versions of movies from larger JAV companies.
I just signed up and my password doesn't seem to work yet
Give it some time. We have to propagate your username and password across 50 servers for you to have complete access. If it doesn't work after 1 hour, open a help ticket. 99.99% of the time help tickets of this type are a waste of everyone's time because the password just needs time to move across our network. Be patient please.
The worst thing you can do is to repeatedly try to log in. This is because our security software detects failed log ins and when you do it enough times it will ban your ip for 1 hour. This is done to protect your account and will do nothing but prolong getting full access.
I am having trouble logging into my AJ Direct Account
If you try logging in using the correct log in information, but get forwarded back to the login page with a message telling you that your username and password are not valid, chances are you have privacy guards that are not allowing us to create a cookie. To use our AJ Direct service, you must have cookies enabled. Your security settings on your browser must allow us to create a cookie on your system. This is done for YOUR security and is completely non-invasive.
What happened to the reviewer system?
Our reviewer system has been retired and has been replaced with a more advanced (and functional) moderator system. Reviewers who have been large contributors in the past have been pre-selected as moderators. Click here to learn more about becoming a moderator.
How do I use outstanding credits I earned as a reviewer?
Of course, we will still honor any outstanding credits issued while the system was intact. You can access the log in page here to redeem any outstanding credits.
I really love this site and want to contribute. How do I become a moderator?
Over the years we have build and provided the very best JAV collection to our members that we feel we have been able to offer. Much effort has went into providing as many details as we possibly could for both movies and models. It has become abundantly clear over the years that not only does our membership base have much to contribute, but several members have been essential to our success. We have learned from that realization and have expanded our former reviewer system to allow moderators to participate in more ways, like:
1. Write actress biographies. 2. Write movies summaries. 3. Write scene by scene reviews. 4. Classify movie fetishes.
Most moderators have been pre-selected based off of prior contribution to the site, but we do accept application if you feel this is an area where you would like to participate. Simply submit an application and we will contact you.
How do I use the fetish film finder 2.0?
Our new fetish film finder is perhaps the most useful tool we have ever created for sorting through our JAV collection. Below is a sample of how it can be used.
On the fetish film finder page select a fetish using the select fetish pull down menu. Fetishes are organized by categories in order to easily find what you are looking for out of about 100 choices. Once you have selected your fetish you can hit either the show or don't show link. The show link includes the fetish in your search and the don't show excludes the fetish. Once, the page reloads, the drop down menu will change. The number listed next to the fetish lets you know how many films are available with your current selection and that fetish category. This will help you know exactly how narrow your results will be before even making the selection.
Below is an example query of very specific movie criteria. Image how long that would take to find after sifting through the 2983 movies available with the initial selection. If it any point you want to remove any of your inclusions or exclusion you can hit the [x] super scripted behind the term.
